As an artist, there is nothing I enjoy more than being presented with a thought, message, or concept and finding a way to bring it to life visually! Commissioning a work of art is a unique collaboration between the artist and collector. Whether you have a vision, a beloved poem or literary piece, or are inspired by existing artwork, this creative approach ensures you'll have a one-of-a-kind piece that holds personal significance.

THE COMMISSION PROCESS
Our journey begins with a "Discovery Call" via Zoom or video call. This allows us to delve into your vision, ensuring I clearly understand what you have in mind, and see if we would be a good fit. At this point, if you like what you hear, we can discuss the details of what you have in mind regarding subject matter and size options, allowing for a preliminary estimate to be provided. For portraits, commissions start at 6 x 8" for $800, while conceptual pieces begin at 24 x 30" for $5000.
Next, I'll provide sketches to refine the concept and discuss the best composition. Once we've agreed on a final composition, we'll establish a timeline and payment schedule. A 50% deposit is required before I commence painting. Throughout the process, I will continue to share the creation stages including a black and white detailed composition drawing and color studies.
Upon completion and your approval, final payment is due before the artwork is shipped. Let's embark on this creative journey together!
